Levi and Millie Booth
Levi and Millie Booth were the founders of the Four Mile House which today is a historical and reenactment park near Cherry Creek in Glendale, CO. Four Mile House was a stage coach stop, wayside inn and tavern for travelers on the Cherokee trail to Denver. It was built in 1859.
They married in 1854. Millie lived 89 years and died in 1926. Levi died 14 years previous to his wife's death.
Millie had a high school education and Levi was college educated. He earned the first degree from the University of Wisconsin. They had one daughter, Emma, who died at three years of age in 1861
